THE LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY THE FDP MAY APPEAL THE PARLIAMENT'S DECISION FOR THE HALT OF THE WEAPONS DELIVERY TO SAUDI ARABIA.

Inspite of Germany's current position as the third leading weapons exporter in the world, the German Parliament, the Bundestag has voted early today against the delivery of two hundred tanks to Saudi Arabia. The reason for the German Parliament sudden change in regard to the government's weapons export policy may never be made clear. However, the members of the Parliament in the Bundestag emphasized the fact that Saudi Arabia contributed much in the suppression of the citizens uprising for democracy in Bahrian by weapons delivery to Bahrian, specifically the German tanks. The Opposition decision for the halt of the weapons delivery to Saudi Arabia and perhaps to other countries may be appealed by both the Liberal Democratic party the FDP and the Union parties for further privatization of the weapons industry in order for the country to retain the industry and the citizens to keep their employment in the various sectors of weapon industry.
