Despite criticism of the Chinese Prime Minister Wen Boau visit to Germany and his delegation as excessively honored red carpet welcome in Germany, Chinese and Germany economic progress in regard to the increasing exports and imports from and to these two countries in the current world economic difficulties has been emphasized in various media coverages as progressive and requires the much attention paid to by the current government of Kanzler Angela Merkel. The export volumes in both countries, China and Germany have increased by 74% and 54% respectively and these accounts for over ten percent (10%) of China's export to the European Union countries, despite China's current increasing economic muscles at the global scale.
