UNITED NATIONS NEW SECRETARY GENERAL ACCEPTED HIS CONFIRMATION AS THE NINETH SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS DURING THE BRIEF TELEVISED PRESS CONFERENCE HELD AT THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL HEADQUARTERS OFFICE IN NEW YORK AND EXPRESSED HIS RESPONSIBILITY TO GLOBAL CHALLENGES THAT REQUIRES GLOBAL APPROACH TO GLOBAL PROBLEMS SOLUTION.

      United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guiterres has taken office responsibilities as successor to the predecessor and former United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon who has relinquished office as Secretary General of the United Nations as previously scheduled on the month of December 31 in the Year two thousand and sixteen, after consecutive two terms in office as one of the successful United Nations Secretary General of our time who has made through many difficult global conflicts and multiple United Nations Security Council Resolutions in the attempts to resolve conflicts and alleviate the worsening humanitarian crisis in the regions of conflicts. The New Secretary General of the United Nations Organization who has been introduced as the first United Nations Secretary General from Portugal has accepted his confirmation as the ninth United Nations Secretary General at the United Nations Headquarters Office in New York Yesterday during the brief televised press Conference attended by the domestic and International media personnel.
