THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY APPLICATION TO THE UN SEAT COULD DETERMINE SHORT TERM RECOGNITION OF THE PALESTINIAN AS AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY.

Despite the UN involvement in the resolution of the Middle Eastern Arab/Israeli conflict and the Palestinian struggle for an independent State for decades, this struggle has resurfaced as the main political highlight of the week in the Middle East, the Arab world and the world media after the Arab League convened in the annual Arab Leaque Summit in the Egyptian capital Cairo. However, the Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas promise of the application of the membership of the Palestinian Authority to the UN seat which could determine the short term recognition of Palestine as an independent country has remained controversial in the Israeli Parliament the knesset and the the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamine Netanyahu has predicted rejection of the Palestinian Authority application to the UN seat with failure of the short term process for the recognition of Palestine as an independent country in the Middle East, the Arab world countries and in the whole world.
