THE ARAB WORLD NATIONS CONVENED IN THE EGYPTIAN CAPITAL CAIRO FOR THE ANNUAL ARAB LEAGUE SUMMIT.

The Arab league nations convened in the Egyptian capital Cairo for the annual Arab League Summit early morning today. The Egyptian Transitional military leader Field Marshal General Hussein Tantawi welcomed the leaders of the Arab world countries and the High delegation from several other countries. Among the leaders who addressed the Summit was the current Arab League leader, the Turkish President Erdogan. In a brief televised interview he emphasized the League's objectives which entailed the requirement for a free Palestinian State and its inclusion in the United Nations member nations in the immediate,or short term goals, rather than as along term objective of the Arab world nations. Many citizens in Cairo, particularly those who have been interviewed expressed their support for the Turkish President concern and stronger words that moved many Arab citizens regarding the Palestinian flag being raised in Palestine and the UN which certainly would make him and others in the Arab world happy.
