THE WESTERN COUNTRIES EMPHASIZED THE INTENSIFIED SANCTION AGAINST SYRIA.

The Western countries emphasized intensified sanction against Syria, due to humanrights violation against demonstrators that have demanded change in the system by peaceful means of demonstration in Syria's various cities and towns. The humanrights violation entailed the use of military power to suppress the demonstrators in many cities and towns which has been followed by arrest, torture and death of civilians beaten to death by either the police forces, or the military personnel. The intensified sanction against Syria also includes freezing of Syria's assets abroad, the restriction imposed on the Western countries businesses, business personnel activities with Syria and the declaration of Syria as an insecure destination for the Western countries tourists.
