PRESIDENT MUAMAR GHADDAFI REFUSAL TO STEP DOWN MAY FURTHER EXTEND THE WAR IN LIBYA.

President Muamar Ghaddafi refusal to step down as has been demanded by both the Rebels and the Allied forces, inspite of the continued NATO airstrikes on targets inside Libya of which one bomb target his house and killed his son has not contradicted his refusal to step down which has been emphasized on his speech on the national television in the adress to the nation. In his own words he said that he would not leave his country until the last minute of his life and referred to the NATO and the European Union forces airstrikes attacks as the return of the Colonial era to Libya that marked the historical moment in the history of the Libyan people. This speech which united the Libyan forces behind him and prevented the Rebels ground forces advancement towards Tripoli , despite the airstrikes may further extend the Libyan war, add more casualties in terms of property damages and lost of human lives on both sides which exceeded the UN resolution penalty of NO FLY ZONE sanction against Libya.
