SUDANESE GOVERNMENT APPROACH TOWARDS DEMOCRACY ENDED IN DISAPPOINTMENT OF WESTERN COUNTRIES REFUSAL TO RECOGNIZE SUDANESE GOVERNMENT EFFORT TOWARDS DEMOCRACY.

Sudanese government approach towards democracy after long period of military rule ended in disappointment, due to the Western governments disapproval of the election, despite few complains about fraud at the polling stations in the first democratic election that re-elected President Omar El Bashir as the President of Sudan.
Sudanese people refusal, particularly the military to hand out President Omar El Bashir to the International Criminal Court of Justice for the trial of genocide against humanity , due to the massacre that occurred in the western part of the country, specifically in Darfur during his rule may have attributed to the Western countries refusal to recognize Sudanese government effort towards democracy.
