The Iranian President visit to Lebanon, inspite of sanction and his speech about his acknowledgement of the Lebanese resistence against Israeli occupation has been criticized as controversial show of power that could cause renewed sectarian conflict in Lebanon, despite his warm welcome by almost all the sectors that governs the country. The Israelis seemed preoccupied by the insistance on the recognition of the State of Israel by Palestine, eventhough the new Palestine State has not been formed and recognized. The controversial halt on construction in the occupied West Bank and the concern about renewed rocket attacks as a result of President Ahmadinejad visit to Lebanon.
