Despite the world's respond by constant flow of aid to the victims of the Earthquake that shook Port au Prince the capital city of Haiti and shock the world, continuous amputation of the victims upper and lower extremities which may account for the increased number of amputations performed on patients in the world's history of natural disasters have continued to appear on the media.
However, no medical data has been released on the number of amputations performed on the victims of the Earthquake estimated in numbers of several hundreds to several thousands.
The amputated children, boys, girls, women and men would remain constant reminder of the Earthquake that devastated Haiti in the begin of the year 2010. It has also revealed the varying healthcare standards in the world today and medicine current inability in the cure of decaying living tissues and broken bones.
