SWITZERLAND'S SEVEN FEDERAL COUNCIL PRESIDENTS AND THE FEDERAL ASSEMBLY HAVE BEEN FOR THE DELAY OF THE GOVERNMENT'S CHANGE OF ITS ENERGY POLICY WITH THE SHIFT FROM THE ATOMIC ENERGY AS THE MAIN SOURCE FOR GENERATION OF ELECTRIC POWER TO THE ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES.

     President Johann Schneider Amman with the seven Federal Presidents of Switzerland's ruling council have been up for the delay of the government's legislation that authorizes change of its energy policy with the shift from the hazardous and polluting energy sources as the atomic energy  that may remain its main source for  generation of electric power to meet the ever increasing higher demand for electric energy consumption in the various cities towns and villages of Switzerland, despite the legislative requirement for the change of the government's energy policy with the shift from the hazardous and the polluting energy sources as the nuclear and fossil fuel energy sources to the Environment friendly and renewable energy sources as demanded by the enacted legislation at the domestic government and European Union government high levels. Few of the mentioned Environment and renewable energy sources that have been emphasized as replacement of the current main energy sources with the previously scheduled demand for the closer of the Nuclear Reactors that have remained operational in Switzerland which unfortunately have been either rejected by both the Federal Council of Presidents and the Federal Assembly of Switzerland, or may have remained controversial as the rather drastic approach of the government's legislative authority and measures toward the closer of all its Nuclear Reactors until the Year two thousand and nineteen, despite the current rising higher demand for energy consumption that requires higher capacity electric power plants to maintain its current adequate efficient energy supply in the industries many Households and businesses of the cities towns and villages that should entail the Environment friendly and renewable energy sources as the Wind the Solar the Hydro-Electric the Biomass and the Geothermal energy sources. However, the decision of the Federal Council of Presidents with the Federal Assembly of Switzerland on the controversial subject for the delay of the government's policy for the change of its energy policy with the shift from the atomic energy as the main source for generation of its electric power supply to the mentioned Environment friendly and renewable energy sources may override the legislative authority that demanded the closer of the Nuclear Reactors which included the legislative authority of the European Union government. This could mean all the Nuclear Reactors in Switzerland that have remained functional and continue to meet higher demand for electric energy supply in the cities towns and villages of Switzerland may remain functional, despite the controversy on the energy policy in the Council of Presidents and the Federal Assembly of Switzerland that can be concluded by the only vote of the head of Presidents, if the votes in the Federal Council of Presidents and the Federal Assembly remains tied over long period of time with less, or no involvement of the citizens , or public opinion on the significant energy policy issue that directly affects the citizens and often requires policy making at the basic level of citizens policy making in the various Communities and Society of the Country. Nevertheless, Environmental Protection Agencies with the Green Peace Activists may soon rally support against the government's decision for the delay, or against the implementation of change of the government's energy policy with the rather drastic shift from the atomic energy as its main source for generation of electricity to the repeatedly mentioned Environment friendly and renewable energy sources at least until the Years two thousand and nineteen and two thousand and twenty five respectively.
