NUCLEAR WASTE STORAGE PROBLEMS REMAINS MAJOR POLITICAL ISSUE IN MANY COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD.

NUCLEAR WASTE STORAGE PROBLEMS REMAINS MAJOR POLITICAL ISSUE IN MANY COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD.

Nuclear waste storage problems remains major political issue in many States of Germany and other parts of the World in which the main source for  generation of electric power has not changed from the atomic energy to the environment friendly renewable energy sources that entailed the Solar, Wind and Geothermal energy sources, despite the government's change of energy policy with the shift to the renewable energy sources. Financial benefits with the required electric power generation capacity, or efficiency to meet the rising demand for electric power consumption in many countries of the World, particularly in the developed countries of USA, Europe, Asia and other Continents seem to overweigh the environmental concern for safety, pollution free environment and depletion of Earth's valuable resources. In Germany and particularly in the States of Niedersachsen, Schleswig Holstein, Baden Wuttenberg and Bayern Munchen nuclear waste storage facilities have continued to receive nuclear waste materials from domestic and foreign nuclear Reactors for storage in the domestic nuclear waste storage facilities, despite citizens repeated protest. However, scientists, politicians and businesses have recommended temporary expansion of the perimeters of nuclear waste storage facilities for safety purpose in Germany and other parts of the World.
