THE UN DEMAND FOR INTENSIFIED SANCTION AGAINST THE SYRIAN GOVERNMENT REFLECTED PRESIDENT ASSAD DEFIANCE AGAINST THE REQUIRED COMPLIANCE TO THE UN ---

THE UN DEMAND FOR INTENSIFIED SANCTION AGAINST THE SYRIAN GOVERNMENT REFLECTED PRESIDENT ASSAD DEFIANCE AGAINST THE REQUIRED COMPLIANCE TO THE UN OBLIGATION.

The UN has repeatedly emphasized its demand for intensified sanction against the Syrian government, despite the Syrian government acceptance to the UN plan for peace in Syria headed by former UN High Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Kofi Annan on Russia intervention. The UN demand for intensified sanction against the Syrian government has been attributed to the continued gun battle against the Militia by the Syrian military after the government acceptance of the UN peace plan for Syria which certainly reflected President Assad defiance against the required compliance to the UN obligation. However, President Assad insistance not to reliquish power to the civilian for the current Constitution Amendment and for the election that has been scheduled to take place in the month of May of the year 2012 would require the restoration of security in Syria at the presence of the growing militia resistance Movement in Syria that has been recognized as an unorganized Rebel forces.
