POWER OUTAGE IN SOME OF THE CITIES AND TOWNS IN GERMANY , DUE TO THE SHUT-DOWN OF TWO NUCLEAR REACTORS, RESULTED IN THE SHIFT OF THE CITIZENS OPINION POLLS RESULTS REGARDING THE GOVERNMENT'S ENERGY POLICY.

Citizens opinion polls results in many European countries, particularly in Germany in regard to the shift in the government's energy policy from the use of nuclear energy as the main source of electric power generation to the environment friendly renewable energy sources such as the Wind, the Solar and Geothermal energy sources has been gradually changing, due to the electric power outage in the cities and towns in which two nuclear Reactors have been shut-down before the year 2022. Besides the government's recent moves in signed contracts between Germany and Russia that will extend Russia's gas pipe-lines to Germany which many Germans believed will deepen Germany's dependancy on the gas from Russia and on Russia than on the electricity from the nuclear Reactors that have been shut-down and those that would be shut down in the future. However, the German government energy policy has not been expected to change, inspite of the power outage in some of its cities and towns after the recent Parliamentary decision that enacted the legislation for the shut-down of all the nuclear Reactors currently in operation until the year 2022.
