HURRICANE IRENE PROJECTED PATH OF LANDFALL AND DEVASTATION HAS BEEN LESS THAN MAY HAVE BEEN ANTICIPATED.


Inspite of attributes in the weather patterns and the changes that follows after, which entailed pollution of the atmosphere, due to the emission of harmful gases that may result in the ozone layer formation, global warming , atmosphere pollution and acid rain problems in various parts of the world, the month of August remains the formidable month of the hurricane season in the USA. Hurricanes with huge magnitude and devastating power that had been formed in the month of August, particularly at the end of the month of August made historical marks in damages as they made landfall along the coastal regions in the USA. Hurricane Petsy and Hurricane Katrina had been two of the known hurricanes with much devastating power. However, hurricane Irene projected path of landfall and devastation had not been as it may have been anticipated as it made landfall yesterday at the North Carolina coast and in New York city. Fourty people have lost their lives and the damages inflicted on properties has been estimated in the value worth the amount of several millions of dollars.
