TOUGHER LEGISLATION ON UNLICENSED GUN POSSESSION HAS NOT FULLY REDUCED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN COMMUNITIES AND SOCIETIES IN WHICH GUNS HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE CRIMES COMMITTED.

Despite tougher legislation on unlicensed gun possession in many States of the USA with the required updates on licensed gun ownership within specified limited time period that may vary from one location of residence to another and from one State to another State has not fully reduced domestic violence in communities and societies in which guns have been involved in the crimes committed, eventhough the general reports on the percentage of the crime rates in schools and in the States of USA have been significantly reduced compared to the previous years. Alternative approaches in the combat of the crime rate in the USA by education and by the increase in number of the law enforcement personnel, or the men and women on duty of enforcing the legislation may have contributed to the decrease in the crime rate in the USA.
