THE DURBAN WORLD ENVIRONMENT SUMMIT ON GLOBAL WARMING HAS BEEN REGARDED AFAILURE , DESPITE THE SUCCESS IN THE ORGANIZATION WITH THE REQUIRED TIME EXTENSION.

Despite the success in the organization of the World Environment Summit on Global Warming being held in Durban South Africa with the required time extension that has been limited to the time period of seven days, much success in the compromise expected between the developed and the developing countries on the environmental issues, when compared to the previous Summits in Kyoto Japan, Copenhagen Denmark and Argentina, particularly on the Kyoto protocol has not been attained. Some of the difficult environmental issues entailed the demand for developed nations to relinquish the Industrial tecnology that emits pollutants in the atmosphere that polllutes the Environment and adopt new environment friendly, but expensive tecnology to combat pollution and for the use of renewable energy sources, or recycled energy sources and materials. Besides the funds collection and funds distribution issues aimed at the encouragement of reforestation, the use of environment friendly energy sources and the use of less harmful tecnology to combat global warming and all the negative consequences caused by global warming such as drought, or famine in mostly the third world countries, the melting of the ice glaciers in both the Arctic circle and Antarctica along with the destruction of the natural habitat of many species that can result in the extinction of some of the species in both the developed and the developing countries around the world.
