THE EGYPTIAN MILITARY EFFORT IN RETAINING ORDER IN THE CAPITAL CAIRO HAS REMAINED INEFFECTIVE IN THE ABSENCE OF A GOVERNMENT.

The Egyptian military effort in retaining order in the Egyptian capital Cairo has proven a failure, or may have remained ineffective in the absence of a government. Break-in, or looting of shops and public properties such as museums, parks and libraries has continued in tha Egyptian capital Cairo and several other cities in the neighborhood. President Hosni Mubarak where-about and some members of his cabinet members is not known. Some sources have claimed that he and some of his cabinet members and their families may have fled the country to the USA, eventhough many USA citizens have been stranded in many Egyptian ports.
