MAJOR STORM DAMAGE REMAINS EUROPE'S NEWS HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK.

       The major storm that swept across the Northern , the North East and North West States of Germany and as far as the Niederlands early in the week and inflicted much damages in human lives and property remains Europe's major news highlight of the week . In the Northern cities of Berlin, Hamburg and in the North Rhein West Fallen cities of Bonn, Bonn Badgodesberg, Koln and Dusseldorf power outage has been reported. Many trees have been uprooted, power lines knocked to the ground, homes destroyed and over flooded with much rain water which further resulted in extended delay of various means of transportation and communication in Germany's major cities which entailed air transportation, rail transportation and on road transportation. The exact number of immediate death caused by the storm has been mentioned as six people and many injuries, inspite of the extend of property damages that have been estimated in the sum of hundred of millions of euros, particularly in the mentioned States and cities of Germany and the Niederlands. Other sources have named the major storm that swept across Europe early in the week as the Century Storm, despite the minimal lost of lives specified, due to storm damage in the various States and cities of Europe.
