THE WEAPONS TRADE TREATY REMAINS CONTROVERSIAL, DESPITE THE UNITED NATIONS UNANIMOUS VOTES FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION.

THE WEAPONS TRADE TREATY REMAINS CONTROVERSIAL, DESPITE THE UNITED NATIONS UNANIMOUS VOTES FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION.

The United Nations have unanimously voted for the final implementation of the Weapons Trade Treaty aimed for the control and the regulation of arms sale at a global scale, inspite of Iran, Syria and North Korea rejection of the Treaty that may increase arms prices and encourage illegale arms trade around the World, particularly on the controversy of what, or which types of weapons may be regarded as the conventional, or the none conventional weapons required for the defense of sovereign nations during peaceful, conventional, or none coventional warfare period that have continued to spread all around the World. Besides, the doubt expressed by some people about the detail and effectiveness of the Treaty that aims to regulate and control weapons sale in the regions in which both the United Nations Oraganization and the major powers have repeatedly failed, or pulled out, due to the failure to control and implement the United Nations regulations in the countries that have either rejected, or did not comply with the World Body obligations aimed for peaceful purposes.
