RUSSIA EUROPEAN UNION (EU) SUMMIT FOCUSED MAINLY ON THE ENERGY POLICY OF THE CONTINENT AND THE ISSUES MADE EUROPE'S MEDIA HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH.

The Russian European Union (EU) Summit held today in the Russian capital Moscow focused mainly on the Continent's energy policy, particularly on the shift of the energy policy from the atomic and fossil fuel as the main energy sources of some of Europe's major countries to the renewable environment friendly energy sources such as the Wind, the Solar, Hydro and Geothermal energy sources as the preferred main energy sources of the Continent which Russia seemed reluctant to change its energy policy, or adapt and implement the European Union countries energy policies amidst Russia's project for the extension of its natural gas pipelines to Eastern and Western European countries that includes the European Union countries. However, other issues that have been Europe's media highlights of the month have been discussed and entailed the EU request for Human rights and citizens freedom in Russia, the Russian Government demand of the EU countries to ease traveling visa to Russian travelers to the EU countries and the Russian Parliament conclusion of the legislation that prohibits Russian children adoptation by the USA citizens.
