DEMONSTRATION HAS CONTINUED IN THE GREECE CAPITAL ATHENS AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT AUSTERITY MEASURES.

Demonstration has continued in the Greek capital city Athens in the last seventy two hours against the government Austerity measures intended to help the government save money to qualify Greece for the European Union bank credit line and eventually the European Union financial rescue package which many European Union countries such as Spain, Portugal and Ireland have requested. The demonstration and strike that have spreaded to all the ministries in Greece have affected various types of transportation systems that entailed the air transport, the railway transport and the road transportation system in the entire country. Flights have been cancelled, trains and buses remained un-operational at various train and bus stations, while passengers and commuters for either the domestic, or the International flights and foreign travellers have remained stranded in the Airports, train and bus stations. The extend of financial damage inflicted on Greece economy as a result of the strike could exceed one billion euros ($1.000.000.000.00) euros.
