CONTROVERSY ON GERMANY'S FIRST FEMALE DEFENSE MINISTER AMBITION FOR UNITY AND BETTER EQUIPPED BUNDESWEHR HAS GAINED MUCH DOMESTIC, EUROPEAN UNION AND INTERNATIONAL MEDIA ATTENTION.

Controversy on Germany's first female Defense Minister ambition for better equipped Bundeswehr and unity among the military both at home and in foreign countries has gained much domestic, European Union and International media attention that qualified her first visit to Afghanistan and her first meeting with the German high rank Generals as the domestic and European Union media highlights of the week, inspite of series of doubts expressed about the Defense Minister Ursula Von Der Leyen intentions that either contradicts, or demands reform on the government's defense policy that has enacted legislation for both disarmament and troops reduction, particularly of the Bundeswehr amidst rising concern among the Eurozone countries for adequate, or better defense system for the protection of Europe's emerging economic markets, financial superiority and ever expanding industrial and economic growth expansion  that may soon surpass the major and leading financial markets, or growing economics of both the USA and China respectively. However, few European Union Intellectuals have supported the Defense Minister against her government's defense policy that has been believed to have introduced the European Union Austerity Measures to reduce, or cut military budgets in the Eurozone  for the eventual destruction of the defense system in Europe.
