THE UNMANNED VEHICLE STRATEGIC DEFENSE PROJECT HAS EXERTED SIGNIFICANT PRESSURE ON THE GOVERNMENT'S CURRENT DEFENSE POLICY.

The unmanned vehicle strategic defense project known as the Euro-Hawk Drones Project has exerted significant pressure on the government's current defense policy of budget cuts, disarmament and troops reduction that requires amendment as Germany's government increasing role of responsibility continues to expand in the domestic, Eurozone and International levels with the requirement for tougher decision making on the country's strategic defense projects and industrial growth that may eventually require future stronger defense fortress. However, some government executives, legislators and the Opposition Members of Parliament have regarded the Euro-Hawk Drones Project as expensive, pointless and contradicts the government's current defense policy. Government and the Opposition Members of Parliamenthave emphasized the fact about the cost of the air defense project that has exceeded over half a billion euros and has not proven its success during Germany's involvement in peace mission and troops deployment in Afghanistan, Iraq and Turkey.
