EUROPEAN UNION PARLIAMENT HAS CONCLUDED ITS DEBATE ON DATA CONTROL FOR THE DOMESTIC AND LONG DISTANCE AIR TRAVEL WITHIN THE EUROZONE COUNTRIES WITH OVERWHELMING SUPPORT OF THE PRECAUTIONARY SECURITY MEASURES AGAINST TERROR THREATS AND FOR SAFETY OF AIR TRAVEL IN THE EUROPEAN UNIION COUNTRIES AND IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES.

     European Union Parliament has finally concluded its debate on data control for domestic and far away long distance air travel within the Eurozone and foreign countries with overwhelming Parliamentary support for the precautionary security measures against terror threats and for the safety of the domestic and foreign air travel, despite criticism of the European Union Countries unified data control policy for the domestic and long distance air travel to foreign countries as violation of the European Union unified data protection policy, particularly in Germany and other Eurozone Countries. Canada has signed an agreement with the European Union Countries for data control of the domestic and long distance air travel between Canada and the European Union Countries as an additional security measures for the safety of air travelers between Canada and the Eurozone Countries. In other words personal data of both the domestic and long distance air travelers traveling between Canada and the European Union Countries will be  subjected to data control. Documents such as identification cards, passports, visa issued, bank cards with the possible transaction that may have been made for the purchase of the air tickets would be collected, stored,  control, protected and used for screening against suspects , or the wanted terrorists that may have been involved in terror plots, or terror attacks within the Eurozone and foreign countries. However, the Aviation Administration Association and other major countries such as the USA, Russia, China, Japan, other Asian Countries, Australia, the Middle Eastern, the Arab World and African Countries have remained silent about the requirement for a signed agreement on air security between the mentioned destinations with emphasis on additional precautionary security measures against terror threats and for the safety of air travel of both the domestic and long distance air travel between the USA and the many other countries around the World. Another aspect of concern on the newly introduced air travel regulation and the storage of personal data for domestic and long distance travel between the Eurozone Countries and Canada entailed the duration, or the time allocated for data storage and data control of air travelers personal data between the mentioned countries. This could mean the personal data collected from air travelers may be stored and control for limited period of time, or the data collected may be stored permanently by the air travel authorities and securities in the various countries of the World.
