THE CONTENTION OVER THE FUTURE RULE AND GOVERNANCE OF LIBYA, IF LIBYA IS OCCUPIED CAUSED A SETBACK IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE REBEL'S FORCES TOWARDS TRIPOLI. The contention over the future rule and governance of Libya between the Rebel's political wing and the Allied governments leaders, if Libya is occupied led to the unilateral ceasefire that has been observed by the Allied forces that caused the defeat of the Rebel's forces by the Libyan army in the cities and towns that had been occupied by the Rebel's forces and this has caused a setback in the advancement of the Rebel's forces towards Tripoli which may not be reversed anytime soon, since the Allied forces ceased the bombardment of targets inside Libya.
