THE LEGISLATIVE BAN ON USE OF BLACKBERRY AND WIRELESS SMARTPHONES WILL HURT THE DOMESTIC BUSINESSES IN THE ARAB WORLD AND INDIA.

Some Arab world countries expanding markets and growing domestic businesses, particularly the businesses that have been involved in the mordern internet businesses, the e-commerce, besides the companies, or businesses that have been involved in the manufacturing and sales of the wireless devices such as the Blackberry and other smart phones may be hurt by the legislative ban and use of the mentioned wireless devices, eventhough tecnical difficulties have been reported in regard to the required control of data transfer to and from the banned, or restricted wireless devices and the Blackberry to enable full implementation of the legislation that have been passed in many Arab world countries.
However, Blackberrries and other smart phones that have been activated by foreign online services have remained activated and functional after the legislative ban exceeded the dateline in Saudi Arabia and some Arab world countries, except in India because the dateline has been extended until the end of the month of August, 2010.
