The construction of an Islamic center and a mosque near ground zero, the location on which the destroyed world trade centers two towers had stood until the 9/11 terrorists attacks has been one of the highlighted themes of the week and possibly the next months in the USA politics that could possibly shift the balance of power in both the Congress and the Senate to the Republicans advantage, instead of the Democrats. The construction of a mosque and an Islamic center near ground zero caused the divide among the politicians and the USA citizens on the American acknowledged religious diversity and tolerance. However, thousands of articles so far written by American citizens have expressed their disapproval against the construction of an Islamic center and a mosque near ground zero.
