THE THREE DAYS ENERGY SUMMIT EXPECTED TO DETERMINE THE FUTURE OF NUCLEAR ENERGY IN GERMANY IN PARTICULAR AND IN EUROPE IN GENERAL REMAINED - - -

THE THREE DAYS ENERGY SUMMIT EXPECTED TO DETERMINE THE FUTURE OF NUCLEAR ENERGY IN GERMANY IN PARTICULAR AND IN EUROPE IN GENERAL REMAINED CONTROVERSIAL, DESPITE THE GOVERNMENT'S PLAN FOR THE COMPLETE SHUT DOWN OF ALL THE SEVENTEEN NUCLEAR REACTORS CURRENTLY OPERATING EFFICIENTLY IN THE VARIOUS STATES OF GERMANY.

The three days energy summit held in Berlin that ended yesterday remained controversial, despite the government's plan for the complete shut down of all the seventeen nuclear Reactors that have been operating efficiently since the last few decades in the various states in Germany. The controversy on the issues that have been expected to determine the future of the atomic energy use in Germany in particular and in Europe in general during the summit entailed the disadvantages and perhaps the dangers of immediate shut down of all the nuclear Reactors that have been the main electric energy supply sources for the industries and homes, besides the cost of the transformation from the nuclear energy to the renewable energy sources, or other forms of energy sources estimated in several billions of euros which may too have negative impact on the German competitive economy.
