LUFTHANSA PILOTS AND EMPLOYEES AT THE VARIOUS AIRPORTS HAVE EXTENDED THEIR STRIKE, DUE TO LACK OF COMPROMISE ON THE UNHEEDED DEMANDS THAT ENTAILED TARIFF INCREASE AND SAFETY CONCERN AT WORK PLACES.

LUFTHANSA PILOTS AND EMPLOYEES AT THE VARIOUS AIRPORTS HAVE EXTENDED THEIR STRIKE, DUE TO LACK OF COMPROMISE ON THE UNHEEDED DEMANDS THAT ENTAILED TARIFF INCREASE AND SAFETY CONCERN AT WORK PLACES.

      Lufthansa Pilots and employees at the various airports in Germany and particularly at Frankfurt Airport have extended their strike on the air transportation system that may inflict huge financial damage on the air transport industry, due to lack of compromise between the government, trade unions and employees on the unheeded demands that entailed tariff increase for both Lufthansa Pilots and workers at the airports, besides increasing concern for safety measures at work places in the various airports of many States with regard to the overstressed Pilots in the Cockpit, due to extended flight hours at a lower pay raise. Over five hundred flights of both the domestic and International flights have been cancelled and thousands of passengers stranded at the time, when the government enacted the legislation that will authorize refund for both the domestic and International passengers bound for, or aboard the airplanes that have been either cancelled, or delayed, if passengers demand, or apply for refund, due to inconveniency, delay, or flight cancellation.
