Hurricane Petsy and Hurricane Katrina had been two of the known hurricanes with much devastating power. However, hurricane Irene projected path of landfall and devastation had not been as it may have been anticipated as it made landfall yesterday at the North Carolina coast and in New York city. Fourty people have lost their lives and the damages inflicted on properties has been estimated in the value worth the amount of several millions of dollars.
