Christine lagarde the former French finance Minister appeared on a brief press conference today in her new office in New York as the new female IMF boss after just one week of her election victory to the high position. The press coverages in the USA expressed their suport to the new IMF chairman as a knowledgeable and capable personality that would lead the IMF in the next five years. However, details of her work, or rather the future work in regard to changes, or better new finance strategies and concepts to the Institution during the current difficult financial condition in many countries along with the lending strategies have not been made known on the media after the official press release of her acceptance of the new responsibility as the IMF chairman in her office in the USA.
