Germany environment friendly citizens protested against the government decision for the extension of the time period of the Nuclear Power PLants for yet another twelve years.
This plan has been regarded as the best government plan ever concluded, inspite of the unresolved issues that entailed inadequate storage facilities for the nuclear waste storage in secured locations in the country. The damaged competitiveness of the required renewable energy sources that entailed the Wind and Solar Power Plants and the required accomplishment of the goal for carbon gases emission reduction. Nevertheless, few people, specially the citizens have supported the government energy concept as practical under the current difficulties in which the preferred environment friendly energy sources can not produce sufficient power to meet the country's growing demand fot electric energy, besides the introduction and implementation of the tax named '' Brenntelementsteuer'' intended to generate about 2,3 billion Euros needed for the support of renewable sources power projects and for the renovation of old buildings.
