Other sources referred to his denial as a chance that could rescue his political career and reputation in France and the USA, eventhough his resignation may have been regarded as an escape from the decision for the inclusion of some of the third world countries such as China, India and Brazil on the list of the world's dominant economies that could further grow and gain much of the world's economic clout and privilege. Besides the fact that one of the mentioned countries currency may become possible replacement of the current world's reserve currency, due to the mounting debt and growing budget deficit in the USA and in the European Union countries combined which have been calculated to have exceeded 92.4% and 81.2% respectively, or it may have been an escape from early retirement, or both.
