THE DICOVERY AND THE CONFIRMATION MADE ON CUCUMBERS AND TOMATO SALAD IMPORTED FROM SPAIN AS THE MAIN SOURCES OF THE STOMACH INFECTION CAUSING BACTERIA

White spread stomach infection caused by the EHEC bacteria has continued to infect many people in Germany, despite the discovery and the confirmation made on cucumbers, tomato and salad imported from Spain as the main sources of the stomach infection causing bacteria. The number of patients that have been chronically infected and hospitalized rose from over a hundred and thirty patients to two hundred and seventy patients. However, the number of the patients that could not be rescued in hospitals and have died has remained under ten people. The estimated financial damage inflicted on both the farmers and businesses in both Spain and Germany has been rated at a hundred percent and worth the sum of over two million euros on the daily bases in the Northern Region of Germany.
