GENERAL REPORT ON SEVERE WINTER SEASON WEATHER CONDITION AND ACCIDENTS IN THE USA COMPARED TO THE EUROPEAN COUNTERPARTS.

Severe weather condition continued in many parts of USA. Snow accumulation has been reported in the Northern States, the Eastern States, the Western States and parts of the Southern States. These snow accumulation resulted in problems in the various forms of transportation systems which entailed the cancelation of many flights in the fields of air transport, besides the railway and road transport blockage in the last three days. However the extend of damages inflicted, due to road, rail and air transport accidents have been minimal compared to the European counterparts reports on accidents in Europe caused by the Winter season severe weather condition.
