THE FORESEEABLE HURDLES IN THE MIDDLE EAST PEACE PROCESS.

Despite the official mediation by the USA State Department Secretary Hillary Clinton, the Middle East peace process has been declared partially dead, due to the foreseeable hurdles. Both political and economic perspectives of individual parties in both Israel and the Palestine, specifically the ruling parties in the governments headed by the Lokud party leader Netanyahu and the Fatah party headed by Abbas in Palestine respectively seemed to have outweighted the peace ambition and the peace process respectively. In simple terms , despite the halt on further extension of the expired construction contracts on the West Bank territories, the Israeli government strict enforcement of its promise for the halt of the constructions in the West Bank could cause the current party many votes and the chance for re-election during the next elections, while the Fatah party failure in the several attempts for political success and to secure peace in Palestine could mean the end of the Party and its leaders political careers.
