DEVELOPED NATIONS CITIZENS ATITUDE TOWARDS LITERACY AND HIGHER EDUCATION HAS BEEN IRONICALLY PROFOUND.

The developed nations atitude towards literacy and higher education has been ironically profound, despite the systems concern in the implementaion of legislative guidelines that obligates basic education to all its citizens.
The availability of facilities required for the support and for the encouragement of literacy and higher education such as public schools, private schools, libraries, bookshops and higher institutions for learning such as colleges and universities, besides the fulfillment of basic and upgraded requirements such as nutrition supplies for pupils and students in lower grades, junior, high schols, sport facilities and scholarships for higher education have been proves of the systems concern in educating and in the encouragement of all its citizens for literacy, higher education and research.
However, the percentage of illiteracy in the developed nations compared to the developing nations have been at the zero point, but the rate of drop-outs from both the basic and higher education in the developed nations have remained at the rise.
