LUFTHANSA AND GERMANY'S WING HAVE RESUMED WORK AFTER THE GOVERNMENT AND TRADE UNION REACHED A COMPROMISE ON THE PREVIOUSLY UNHEEDED DEMANDS FOR TARIFF INCREASE.

Lufthansa and Germany's Wing have resumed work after hundreds of flights had been cancelled, due to unheeded demands for tariff increase for airport workers, professional employees and pilots in various States of Germany and particularly after the government and Trade Union reached a compromise on the required tariff increase percentage that have been rated at three point five percent (3.5%), four point five percent(4.5%) and six point five percent (6.5%) for workers, professionals employees and pilots respectively. Other issues that needs to be resolved entailed safety concern and safety measures at work places, specially with regard to flight scheduling, or rescheduling of both the domestic and International flights of mostly the over-worked Pilots of the mentioned airlines. Reasons for the previously aborted strikes for pay increase entailed workers demand for much bigger steak and a lion's share on Germany's current prosperity in order for workers and particularly the workers at the airports to meet the demands of the rising lifestyle standards in both Germany and the European Union countries. Besides, the rising security concern for both employees at the airports and passengers aboard the aircrafts during scheduled fights. However, government sources have warned both airport employees and Trade Unions about citizens indiscipline at work places by strikes that may bankrupt the various struggling airlines.
