CONCERN EXPRESSED ABOUT THE STRANDED SYRIAN REFUGEES AT THE STRONGLY FORTIFIED TURKISH SYRIAN BORDER.

Concern expressed about the worsening humanitarian and security condition for the seven thousand stranded Syrian refugees at the strongly fortified Turkish Syrian border crossing has been reconfirmed as delay, rather than entry denial at the border crossing for the fleeing Syrian refugees by the Turkish military based at the Turkish Syrian border. This delay has been required as precautionary measures for the screening of the refugees entry to Turkey and to prevent further sectorian and religious violence similar to the outbreak of violence between the refugees and the Lebanese at the Syrian Lebanese border in Turkey. The Humanitarian Organizations operating at the borders have requested more assistance for the Syrian refugees at the Turkish Syrian border because nobody know when they would be permitted entry to Turkey by the Turkish government, or how long they would remain stranded at the Turkish Syrian border.
