THE ASSERTED INTRUSION OF POLITICS IN EGYPTIAN FOOTBALL TEAMS AND FANS HAS BEEN AN INCREASING WORLD CONCERN ABOUT THE SAFETY OF FOOTBALL STARS, OR FOOTBALL PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS ON EGYPTIAN SOIL.


The asserted intrusion of politics in Egyptian football teams and football fans have had wide range negative effect that damaged Egypt's reputation as one of the best North African and Arab World host countries for both the domestic and foreign football championship games that entailed the World Cup Championship home games play-off with the leading teams in Europe, the USA, the Arab world, Asia, Africa and many other teams in countries around the world. However, previous Egyptian fans attacks on football domestic and foreign players in Egyptian football fields became an increasing world concern about the safety of football professional players on Egyptian soil, particularly after yesterday's incident that occurred at Port Said stadium during the domestic football championship play-off between El- Ahly team, the national home football champion against the relatively unknown Port Said national football team. Seventy two people have died during the incident that resulted in Parliamentary debates in the Egyptian Parliament, political controversy on politics intrusion in Egyptian football teams and football fan, besides the inconclusive investigations for the reasons that may have caused the incident.
