EXTENDED CITIZENS PROTEST BECAME MAJOR CONTROVERSIAL POLITICAL ISSUE OF BOTH THE OPPOSITION POLITICAL PARTIES AND THE GOVERNMENT CABINET, DESPITE THE GOVERNMENT MEASURES TO RESTORE ORDER IN THE INNER CITIES AND TOWNS.

The extended citizens protest over the building project on one of the city major parks has intensified in the capital Ankara, Stanbul and other towns in the neighborhood, despite the government's measures to restore order in the inner cities by police forces deployment, extensive use of water canon, or tear gas and massive arrest of demonstrators by the police to disperse the protestors and discourage the protest by demonstration that became major controversial political issue of both the Opposition political parties and the government cabinet in the last seven days since the citizens protest began. The Turkish Parliament has been expected to convene over the next week to discuss the controversial political issue that became violent, despite its significance and Prime Minister Erdogan insistance to continue with the project, inspite of the unrest in Turkish inner cities and major towns. The number of those that may have died during the protest have not been mentioned, except the minor to severe injuries that ranged in hundreds of citizens.
