THE EGYPTIAN CITIZENS HAVE RE-DEMONSTRATED AT TAHRIR SQUARE TO PROTEST THE COUNTRY'S ELECTION RESULTS.


The citizens in the Egyptian capital Cairo have re-demonstrated to protest the country's election results that have been described as an overwhelmingly Islamic parties coalition victory that entailed the previously outlawed Muslim Brotherhood Islamic parties. However, the transitional military government effort and attempt to contain the demonstrators and restore order in the Egyptian capital Cairo and several other towns in the neighborhood resulted in fierce clashes between the government soldiers and the citizens. Four people have been reported to have died and over three hundred others have been injured during the demonstration that have occurred at Tahrir square in Cairo. The Transitional military government has extended the announcement of the election results until early next year.
