WHERE MIGHT THE WORLD AND ALL THE PEOPLE IN IT BE HEADING TO?

Is the world heading towards abetter world and its people becoming kinder than they may have been with its concept of intense materialism for which many people would push themselves to the limits to earn the most, or could they be taken advantage of and exploited for cash, or for an advancement. Or this world with all the people in it have been heading towards the edge for afree-fall ?
Primitive and ancient traditions had valued individual's life and human worthiness for the natural superiority over other living things, except for the search for food. But, the current mordern cultures have valued individual's life, or human worthiness for what one does and how much money one earns, besides being very intelligent, civilize and a person of good character.
However, the claim that I do not seem to look for food as the others and so do not belong to them has been an allegation that is not true. I do look for food more than any of them in a different way that has been quite different from that of a primitive person.
Unfortunately, I had been in a wrong place at the wrong time during my rather short period of stay in atlanta/Georgia.
