         The Former UN High Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Kofi Annan optimism for peace in Syria has been set to cease on August 19, 2012 in the UN latest Resolution for Syria that condemned the use of heavy weapons of mass destruction in the current Syrian civil war and Annan's peace initiation effort as a failure amidst continued battle in Alepo and parts of Damascus by the Syrian military for the recapture of Aleppo and parts of Damascus that had fallen to the Rebel forces. Refugees influx from Syria to the neighboring countries of Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and other Arab world and North African countries has tripled, due to the intensified battle for the recapture of the mentioned city and town.
